One of my favorite movies is Groundhog Day.  The weatherman, Phil, finds himself trapped in the same day and lives it over and over.  What is interesting to me is that even though the surrounding circumstances of each day are identical, the outcome is always different.  It is Phil’s attitude that creates the day and the resulting consequences.

It is our attitude that creates our days as well.  The options are many.  Do we approach each day with expectancy and faith, or are we living in fear and dread?  What could yesterday have been like if you had approached it differently?  What can today be like?

Each day consists of your thoughts, words and actions within the context of your circumstances.  Each day will unfold according to that which is in your heart.

“The good man brings out of his good treasure what is good; and the evil man brings out of his evil treasure what is evil.” (Mt. 12:35)

Every day presents a multitude of opportunities, challenges and decisions.  Every day is a blank canvas on which you can express God’s grace, faith and vision, or your own fear and lack.

What can you do with today?  It’s up to you!
